Horrible!!

Went in for a FREEE COVID TESTING and they are trying to charge me 1200 for being there a whole 10 minutes hahaha not seeing a dime!!!!

Surprise Billing for Unreasonable Charges

I received a surprise billing for $1502.00 for a Dr. I talked to for about five minutes at the Providence Sacred Heart ER and theatening collections if not immediately paid. I spoke with a rep who said my insurance asked for documentation but they hadn't provided it. After I said I'd take them to small claims court and they could attempt to justify $1502 for five minutes work, she said they'd bill insurance. This seems to be their business model. Googling them shows a pattern of sending obscenely large bills and theatening collections while failing to properly bill insurance. I'm sure it's highly profitable. Many probably just pay no matter how unreasonable the charge when threatened with collections. It has to pay a lot better than what insurance will pay them.
