Loan modification scam

I wish I had done a little more investigation prior to engaging this business. If I had, I would have discovered the multitude of folks who have, for lack of a more accurate word, been SCAMMED. I have viewed numerous negative reviews and multiple complaints, but after having spoken with the State Bar of California, they say there have been no formal complaints lodged against State Trust Legal nor Lee Alan Gross the attorney/owner of record. I too was scammed out of several thousand dollars by this greedy, unethical, unprofessional, lying, cheating bunch. Based on the initial offering I received in the mail to consolidate my 1st and 2nd mortgages at an extremely low interest rate, I prepaid almost $7,500 for services that were either not rendered at all or only lightly addressed. I am not going away with my tail tucked between my legs. As evidenced by this review I am initiating my campaign to recover at least a portion of my expenditures. I have already begun the process of filing a complaint with the State Bar of California and I have an appointment with an attorney to discuss what avenues I have available.
