Sketchy - Avoid this Online Retailer

After doing some research on TheLightShop.com, after my ordering experience sadly, it seems pretty clear this business is scamming people. I received one order which was damaged (like many others). Pretty sure this business may be a place that harvests returned items from reputable retailers and sell them at a large margin. This is the only conclusion I can draw after seeing so many eerily similar experiences. Also, the customer service mentions are spot on. Just terrible.

Something fishy

So I went to earthiemodern.com an online website, (bear with me, this is about the lightshop) and placed an order which showed no status in shipment. I contacted through email, no response. I called and spoke to a person who sounded surprised and completely disorganized when I asked about my order. I was told it was back ordered. Manufacturer problem. I waited well over a month....nothing!!! Oh and when you email the customer service you get nothing also.

So when looking at the website that has no way of check your order or logging in, I looked at the terms and conditions page. I noticed that the lightshop.com was referenced instead and the contact for earthiemodern is also in Santa Ana.

So the one complaint on this site for lightshop on this site sounds exactly like a complaint from someone else online about earthiemodern which in turn sounds just like my experience. I smell a scam!
