    Uber has deactivated me again...

    Posted on 10/10/2018

Uber has deactivated me again after reactivating me in August over a 31 year old drug conviction that violates PA law. They recently reversed their position on banned Philadelphia drivers and called to say I would be reactivated which they did in early Sept. That lasted about 1 week. I was sent a pre-adverse email again stating that my 31 year old drug charge is reason I'm being rejected. They should abide with Pa and Philadelphia law and Reactivate my account. I haven't had any offenses in over 31 years and this minor drug charge from 1988 should not cause me to be rejected.

Uber charged me fees that were inaccurate, tried communicating with Uber but could not get a response.

    Posted on 7/16/2018

I have had several instances where Uber charged me fees that were inaccurate, tried communicating with Uber but could not get a response. Fortunately, I used Pay Pal, I filed my complaints with them, they tried contacting Uber, apparently they did not get a response, so after 10 days, Pay Pal closed the case and refunded my money. Starting acting professionally.

They take a fourth or more of the drivers earnings. Knowing that they have to pay for all of their own expenses.

    Posted on 6/29/2018

I stopped driving with Uber back in February. My driver account was hacked into by a rider who requested a ride and then called back as if they were someone who works for Uber doing a random screening of drivers. They said that if I didn't go through with the screening that they would suspend me from driving until I completed it. They convince me to give them some of my information as if they were verifying it to protect me from people like them and convince me to let my guard down and to provide information I shouldn't to them. Although Uber gave me my money back the next business day, it concerns me that they did not care to gather evidence that I had or to make me feel as though they were going to pursue this hacker or not. That really disturbs me and it's unclear if they really care about their drivers. I chose to stop driving with them because of this violation to my privacy for a time being. I have decided that I must need to pursue class action lawsuit for Uber's partial negligence and lack of effort to resolve the situation. Amongst other things that they do that misrepresents their drivers, like taking high percentages of their earnings knowing that they have to cover all of their own expenses. I would like Uber to acknowledge what happened to me and to at least take the time to assure me that they are using what they do have as evidence to assist them in stopping this from happening to Future drivers. They need to lower the percentage of money that they're taking from the drivers. They're charging the rider little to nothing compared to what taxi services charge.

They basicallyare allowed to steal your money

    Posted on 10/31/2017

4 times, I have used THEIR APP to set up rides. I use them maybe 5 times a week. The app allows you to input your pick up address, and then add two additional stops. I get to the first stop and tell the driver, I'llbe quick, I'mgrabbing3 items from the store. When I come out, he has left. I look at the receipton the app and I'vebeen overcharged for a 2 mile trip on top of being left. Now I have to order another Uber, wait 10 mins and pay AGAIN. Contacting the customerservice does no good, because they tell me it'smy fault. I'llnever spend my money with them again and i'll make sure everyone I know, does the same.
