Be prepared to get what we got....
On Sunday, June 30, 2019 we were burglarized early in the morning through a building utility closet where our telephone, internet and alarm systems were located; over $1,250,000 in inventory that was prepared and ready to deliver to our school customers was taken. Because there was no notification to us or to the police that our alarm system was offline nor was there any "heartbeat' message to Valley Alarm, nor a cellular notification, which we had every reason to expect since that specifically was on our agreements, the intruders spent over 2.5 hours in our warehouse pillaging our inventory. When our tech person discovered the intrusion, via a phone call from our cleaning service, it had been at least 12-14 hours since the burglary. And when he called their service desk, they were unaware that our system was even offline. Then, my tech person was given an ultimatum by their personnel to sign a 3 year agreement extension just to simply have technicians come in and repair the damaged equipment and restore service. We paid for all the services rendered, but believe that the signing by a non officer of such an agreement is beyond ethical. We sought to have the amount of the remaining monthly service credited in full. In response to a certified letter sent to the owners on January 16th asking to have this alliance to mediate this dispute and NOT to send to collection, Valley Alarm did not call, write or email me, and sent it to collection anyway. Then they did not answer our complaint, stonewalling the dispute.
