I am traumatized by this event on my birthday.

I frequent this hair salon and decided on the day of my birthday December 14 of this year 2021 to have a service done to my hair. I was in their system for over a year and just one month ago did a root touch up to my hair. I was going to go back to my natural color so they treated my hair and part of the process was to place me under heated treatment and the hair dresser named Vanessa placed me under it with a sheet of aluminum wrapped around my head. About 10 minutes into treatment I feel an excruciating burning feeling in my scalp and when I look to see dresser she was attending to another client. I then spoke to Andrea owner of Salon who was at front desk my hair was on fire literally. At that point when they removed the aluminum sheet from my head my hair wrapped in treatment on top of my head in bun style was completely burned. They didn't know how to react and immediately placed me to be washed from product. I knew by the facial and eye contact something was wrong. Afterwards went under color treatment and rinse out after timed. When washing dye from hair out my hair felt lighter and lighter and my hair was as hard as concrete. My dresser never expressed I would not be able to blow dry or brush my hair right after and as I was on my way home to get ready for my birthday dinner my hair starts ripping like paper and I start panicking and called salon right away. Andrea expressed to me that was normal and not to worry. I was so emotionally distraught.
