Donated car 2 months ago now I have been getting certified letter car was inpounded in Aurora police lot. Was found abandoned

Donated car 2 months ago now I have been getting certified letter car was impounded in Aurora Colorado police lot. Was found abandoned. This is very upsetting to myself as I thought I was doing a good service. Could of sold car but I donated it to someone. Feel company is scamming good people.
