Elizabeth Barroso - Employee Spotlight

Business Consumer Alliance’s Employee of the Month for June is Elizabeth Barroso.  Liz is a member of our Customer Service team and has been with BCA since January 2008.  She has received compliments on how pleasant she is to speak to and is very compassionate.  Liz is also bilingual and is very helpful in assisting our Spanish-speaking customers and business owners.

Linda Fernandez, Vice President of Customer Service and Arbitration, has this to say about Liz, “Liz is a diligent employee and works hard in staying on top of her tasks.  She has shown that her mediation skills are exceptional.  Recently, she successfully mediated a complaint between a mother who wanted the best birthday party for her son and a resort company.  The issue stemmed from a mix-up with reservations and a quoted price.  Liz got both parties on the phone and they were able to come to a satisfactory resolution with Liz’s assistance.  According to the mother and her son who attended the birthday bash, BCA rocks!  The resort company was also impressed with the personal touch given to mediating the complaint.”

Some of Liz’s hobbies include hiking, going to Dodgers games and activities with her kids.  In her spare time, she likes to get out of town to enjoy time with her husband and children.  She loves Ferrero Rocher chocolates and can’t go a day without Starbucks coffee.  When asked about what her most fulfilling part about working for BCA is, Liz replied, “When customers tell me I have made their day and when they wish me a blessed day!”
