Hi Krystie. This is a horrible position to be in. I am sorry you are dealing with this issue. Have you spoke with the agency and asked if they can provide a physical check for the wages owed to you while they set up the ADP? This may help in the meantime while you wait on the company to complete the setup of your direct deposit.
In RI you may contact the regulatory agency State of RI Dept of Labor and Training (DLT) to report the issue and file file a DOL wage claim. Here is a link to the DLT's Non-Payment of Wages Complaint form: https://dlt.ri.gov/sites/g/files/xkgbur571/files/documents/pdf/ls/LScomplaintform.pdf and here is the agencies phone number and email address: (401) 462-8550 dlt.laborstandards@dlt.ri.gov

I was able to locate a few resources that may also be able to help with your basic needs in case you need them
RI Dept of Human Services: https://dhs.ri.gov/resources/local-resources
Family Service of Rhode Island: https://www.familyserviceri.org/help
RI Community Food Bank: https://rifoodbank.org/agency-resources/community-resources/
HUD Resources for Rhode Island: https://www.hud.gov/states/rhode_island
From your phone call 2-1-1 for local resources to assist you. I hope this is helpful and wish you the best.
