Our contract formation services are here for any small business needing this form of legal expertise. However, we find that this service is especially beneficial to contractors in California and Texas.
California Contract Regulations
All contractors in the state of California must have a contract. Statutes are governed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), and your contract must include the organization's mandatory disclosures and guidelines. We are proud to help California construction contractors create CSLB-compliant contracts.
Texas Contract Formation
Contractors in the state of Texas have also benefitted from our contract formation services. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requires contractors such as electricians and HVAC contractors to have certain provisions in their contracts, such as their license number, trade name, phone number and other requirements. Plumbers in Texas are governed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) and also have similar requirements.
Although General Contractors in Texas aren't required to have a license, they can benefit from our Residential Building Contract, which includes a state-mandated two-page disclosure for all of their jobs. Roofing contractors in Texas can also benefit from our contracts, which include certain provisions designed to protect businesses.
