ClearOne Advantage complaint need help with investigation

Date: 1/1/2022 11:54 AM (PST)

I am not happy with clearone advantage to say the least
I am auditing to account and these people are crooks! They have straight lied to me, I need help investigating all the laws that have been broken.
I found on creditor they took their fees before paying them anything. I found several other where they paid $1 to $5 dollars to count as the first payment before they then take insane amount of fees in the thousands! all while letting 2 of my enrolled creditors sit with out a word or being paid a dime and I am 3 years in!
They make it impossible to find any info, they don't reply or call when they say.
They have purposely kept me in the dark. I got served on one of the creditors they have neglected.
They then start negotiating only because I demanded it, without even noticing the account # in the summons doesn't match my account number of the debt.! I had to them work very hard to get anyone on the phone to point that out!!I mean this is sloppy. This is destructive. I have beem deceived !I haven't saved anything, let alone no savings even close to their projected estimates. It's all been lies! I need help terminating this agreement. I want to handle anything not paid in full going forwerd on my own. I made a huge mistake beiving them back in early 2019. I would be well on my way repairing my credit if I had filed bankruptcy! They have destroyed my credit and it's not getting any better. I will not be paying them any more of their fees. They threaten if a person's terminates how the agreed settlement is also terminated. So I would have to start over the creditor would put interest and everything back on my debt but ClearOne keeps their fee! .
Which I feel most of that is another lie.
Also. I didn't authorize 2 of my debts settlements They just did it and started taking money for themselves.
I mean this is bad. Fees for everything. Fees that aren't mentioned in their documents. I have found fees for a" success fee" on top of their fees , so a fee for competing a payoff of a debt!!! Fees for payments made via phone pays to use their third party payments company fees fees fees. Take take take. Leaving debts to sit for years!! This is criminal!!! I feel I have been scammed big time and Now I am sued totally because of them.
I never would have let this get to a lawsuit.

All they have said is your account is in good standing all is well. Not a word about them neglecting 2 debts for YEARS now. I can't find the authorizations and schedule of settlement payments I can't see anything. They do this on purpose.
I need help on how to handle this. I know they have broken at least 2 laws so far. . I feel there may be many more.
I want refunds for anything over what was originally agreed in my agreement. I want their fees refunded on the 2 I never authorized. I also feel I am due some sort of compensation for their neglect leading me to getting sued.
I am beyond upset. I am on a mission. This company's "serv

Dear Paige,

I am so sorry to hear about all of the issues you are having with ClearOne Advantage. We have a record with a D rating for a company that is located in Baltimore, Maryland. If this is the same company, I suggest filing a complaint with our office. If you have any questions after your complaint is filed you can call our Customer Service Department Mon-Fri 8-3pm at (909) 825-7280. As you are aware, these services can take up to 36 months or more and by the time you are able to set aside the payments each month most customers drop out of the program and the debt is not settled. Your creditors have no obligation to agree to negotiate a settlement. The debt settlement company will try to negotiate smaller debts first, leaving interest and fees on large debts to grow. There could also be a negative impact on your credit history because you are encouraged to stop making payments to your creditors directly and you will continue to get debt collection calls. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) it is illegal to collect fees before any of your debts are settled under the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). A company can charge you only a portion of its full fee for each debt it settles. For example, say you owe money to five creditors. The company successfully negotiates a settlement with one of your creditors. The company can charge you only a portion of its full fee at this time because it still needs to successfully negotiate with four other creditors. Each time the debt settlement company successfully settles a debt with one of your creditors, the company can charge you another portion of its full fee. If the company's fees are based on a percentage of the amount you save through the settlement, it must tell you both the percentage it charges and the estimated dollar amount it represents. The debt relief company must disclose information about the program such as the fees and conditions of the terms, length of the contract including how many months or years before it will make an offer to each creditor for a settlement, how much money or the percentage of each outstanding debt you must save before it will make an offer to each creditor on your behalf, if they ask you to stop making payments to your creditors they must tell you about the possible negative consequences of your action, including damage to your credit report and credit score; that your creditors may sue you or continue with the collections process; and that your credit card companies may charge you additional fees and interest, which will increase the amount you owe. They must also disclose the funds are yours and you are entitled to the interest earned; the account administrator is not the debt relief provider, don't collect a referral fee and you can withdraw your money without penalty.
