I am concerned that I did not verify the integrity of this company prior to purchasing Vietnamese Dong (foreign currency). I purchased this currency online and of course they took the money from my Visa immediately. As an afterthought when i wanted to cancel the next day or so they pulled out all the specs and said I could not be refunded and i had no choice but to complete the purchase by sending in additional sensitive personal documentation. So I called and spoke with a Mike who claimed to be a VP whom happen to be the rudest person I had ever spoken with. If everyone is to read the Patriot Act prior to making a purchase it should be highlighted on their site. Is this company legitimate and does the consumer have any recourse when dealing with these types. And I do shop at Walmart and often at Target.thx
Good Morning Doris. According to the company’s Terms & Conditions stated on their website, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. Treasury Vault LLC will not issue exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made: https://treasuryvault.com/terms-conditions When a company has a clear policy like this, and its visible on their website, it’s difficult to challenge. In your case, it would be at the company’s discretion to make an exception to their policy. To avoid these situations in the future, especially with online purchases, look for the company’s terms and conditions on their website prior to making a purchase. Make sure you understand what their refund and exchange policy is and that you’re comfortable with it. Treasury Vault LLC is located in Utah and has been incorporated in their state since 2011: https://www.checkbca.org/report/treasury-vault-llc-156306770
