Walmart keept me from leaving

I was asked for my receipt. I refused and was kept from leaving the store. I was pushed and had my things ripped from my hands. Treated like a thief. At the end I gave them my receipt and then escorted out and told I was not wanted there, that I was a piece of s*** and embarassed. What can I do about this? They had no reason to believe I was stealing.

Good Afternoon. I’m sorry to hear of the situation with Walmart. Although it may be Walmart’s policy to check receipts for proof of purchase as consumers exit the store, I understand your frustration. There is also no need for staff to resort to name calling.
