Dear Business Consumer Alliance, I am writing to seek your assistance regarding a pressing issue with my Holiday Inn timeshare contract. The financial and emotional strain caused by this timeshare has significantly impacted my family's well-being and quality time together. Despite my efforts to communicate with Holiday Inn, they have only agreed to cancel one of my contracts, leaving me burdened with the other. This partial cancellation does not provide the relief my family desperately needs. I kindly request your support in advocating on my behalf to convince Holiday Inn to grant a full cancellation of my remaining timeshare contract. The stress and financial obligations associated with this timeshare have become overwhelming, and I fear the continued strain it will place on my family if left unresolved. I would be immensely grateful for any assistance, advice, or resources you could provide to help me navigate this challenging situation and secure a complete cancellation from Holiday Inn. Your expertise and support would be invaluable in alleviating this burden and allowing my family to move forward. Thank you for your time, consideration, and any help you can offer. We are reaching out about our ownership with Holiday Inn. My husband and I purchased the timeshare on May 15, 2015, based on representations made by your sales representative. However, since then, we have encountered numerous challenges. The promises of consistent vacation times and easy resale have not materialized for us. Booking availability has been a major issue, as what was initially communicated as a 2-3 month advance booking requirement has turned into 8-9 months, which is impractical for us. Despite our repeated attempts to communicate our concerns to Holiday Inn, we have received no response. The lack of acknowledgment of our complaints and the persistent collection calls without addressing our needs have left us feeling neglected and frustrated. It is disheartening to see the lack of care for owners once the signatures are obtained. We have explained our financial constraints and the inability to use the timeshare, but it seems our pleas have fallen on deaf ears. We are in a difficult situation where we cannot afford to continue paying for a timeshare that we cannot utilize. We need Holiday Inn to take back ownership of the timeshare. We have reached out to them directly and they have not been of any help and frankly have been rude most times we have spoken with them. Resolution Sought We need Holiday Inn to take back ownership of the timeshare.
