They overcharge enormously. I'm not sure how they do it but I think they just are funny with the numbers. I am one person with only a central AC set on 76 in a 900 square foot house, a refrigerator, one lamp and one phone charger. They're charging me greater than $600 a month. I have no hot water heater, no washer dryer TV computer. I sit in the dark all the time because I can't afford to turn the lights on. Now they've started doing cutoffs at 9:00 on Sunday mornings. They do offer assistance if you call and make arrangements but they don't open till 9:00 on Sunday mornings. That makes it impossible and they know it. I've asked if they really turn electric off on Sunday mornings a few times but they won't answer me. Often it takes hours to get them on the phone. They charge $2 every time you make a payment but when you make a payment on their app it says that there is no charge. $2 of your payment never shows up towards your energy. I am disabled and on SSI and they are taking 75 of my income. I don't know how they're doing it but this cannot possibly be right. Please help me. Resolution Sought Be honest and transparent with why and how they're charging. I would like them to not make it impossible to contact them prior to them turning turn off the electricity. I would like to understand how someone in my position without hot water or a TV even, in a little bitty house, all alone can possibly use $600 a month in electricity.
