Poor Quality , Not Honest

I met Dan at the PDX Swap Meet trusted him to chrome my parts I spent a lot of money with him and at least half the parts had to be redone and they all have flaws rust on the backs sides pitting some very bad repairs , He lost some of my parts had to replace some of the parts even gave me parts that are not mine he says he is a honest person but in the end he burned me he messed up many of my parts rare that can not be replaced. He has not tired to make a reusable offer to make thing right. Even some of the parts are painted silver on the backs. I will now be forced to go to small claims court with him to sell if I can get any of my money back to afford replacements. Please look at his other reviews on Yelp including his face book page and you find out to stay clear of him and not let him plate your parts. There are many many folks saying the same thing I am.

failure to return my parts

I gave him some parts to plate and polish at the Albany Swap Meet in November 2013. I told him there was no hurry and gave him specific instruction about a headlight trim piece. In Feb 2014 I asked him how he was doing. He promised to meet me in March and was a no show. He agreed to meed me at the Portland Swap Meet and said all the work was done. When we met he failed to follow instructions, did a marginal job on 2 of the pieces and could not find one of them. He promised to meet with me again in May. He no showed and promised to mail them. Again No follow through. I asked for the parts to be returned unrestored. Again 2 more broken promises. Laura from Consumers got an additional 2 broken promises. These 3 pieces weigh less than 10 pounds and I would pay for shipping but he just ignores me now. Be very careful of your precious parts
