Customer Complaint

I feel that I was misinformed by a salesman from this timeshare company, that assured me that it wasn't a timeshare. I was invited to an update, which turned out to be a high pressured sales pitch to update from a one bedroom condo to a five bedroom condo. I am 76 years old and was told that the five bedroom could and would be rented out if I signed a rental agreement. I would be sent a check for $6000.00 in February to pay for the condo and that I could still use the condo. I told them that I had spent my whole savings on a previous condo and they said that they would take it in on trade. I live alone, on SS of $1205.00 a month and have living expenses, which now leaves nothing extra for this condo. Because of health reasons, I can't travel alone and I can't afford this condo and feel that I was lied to by a fast talking sales person to upgrade. This place has no handicap assess ability rooms and I told them that I cannot do stairs. That's when I was talked into a five bedroom with an elevator. They put payments on credit cards which I don't remember filing out an application for. They are threatening me with their lawyers. This is causing me a lot of anxiety, which I take meds for. I can't afford this condo! I told them that and would not have signed anything if I hadn't been coerced into doing so and told that a rental agreement would have the place paid for within about ten years. I will be lucky to live that long with my health problems. Thank you for listening! Resolution Sought What ever you can do to help me. I have wrote letters to the company and the attorney general office I don't know what else to do These people need to be stopped from lying to people and taking advantage of older citizens like myself
