On 2/3/2022 I took my 2016 C300 Mercedes to Sugarland Mercedes dealership for a noise in my right front tire. The Diagnostic Identified a bad tie rod arm that with repair and realignment would cost $1660.00 the service advisor contacted Continental warranty for approve for service. The warranty won't allow th dealership to fix my vehicle without using their parts. So dealership would not repair the issue without their parts to cover labor and warranty. On 2/8/2022 we contacted the warranty company . They refuse to help us resolve the problem or reimburse us for the Diagnostic charge of $175. The warranty service won't provide any service to our vehicle unless we take our vehicle to a Mechanic that will allow them to put their Authorize parts. During the purchase of this warranty we was lead to believe the warranty we purchase was a bumper to bumper warranty and would cover everything on our vehicle. But, continental has been nothing but rude and uncooperative. I have dealt with several warranty companies in the past and all accept this one has made our service with them pleasant. Continental is the worst warranty company I've ever been associated with and I will never suggest the service to anyone. This is the second time continental refuse to assist us regarding their warranty. Resolution Sought Fix my vehicle by the dealer ship of our choice and allow them to use their quality parts that we trust and warranted and pay previous Diagnostic charge of $175.00.
