CoreLogic did a background check on me in order for me to rent from Nirvana at Chandler Apartment Homes in Decatur, Georgia. The background check said that I was a registered sex offender. After turning on Fraud Alert on my consumer reports, filing an Identity Theft Report with Federal Trade Commission, and filing a police report, it was concluded that my identity wasn't stolen and that this company did not do their job correctly. A simple search with my social security number yields no felonies or crimes of a sexual nature on my record at all. Resolution Sought Make this company repair my reputation with any companies that they reported this incorrect information to including any rental properties in the state of Georgia. This company needs to be penalized.
