BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Complainants allege the company sells defective merchandise and fails to provide warranty service as agreed. Some complainants allege they receive merchandise which is inoperable or defective at the time of delivery. In other cases customers complain they return defective components two or three times for the same repair or repaired items are retuned without the repairs performed or in the same condition as when they were sent in for repair. Complainants are generally dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided claiming they are unable to reach company personnel by phone and e-mails are not responded to. Some complainants who request refunds on defective products are dissatisfied with the company's policy of deducting S & H charges from the refund amount. ~~The company has responded to most complaints by issuing RMA's for exchanging defective products providing refunds or offering additional repair assistance. In some cases the responses provided did not address the complainant’s allegations. Some customers disputed the company's responses claiming the company did not follow through on promised resolutions or that repairs performed did not remedy the original problem.

I am disputing the amount for the power supply unit in my computer and emotional or mental damage/turmoil. I had the computer for less than 2 weeks and the power supply unit went out. I removed all visible foam etc when the computer arrived. I opened the computer case and there is a piece of foam, pushed into a section of the computer that is not visible, even with both sides off, unless the computer is completely turned upside down. It is unreasonable to expect me to completely turn my computer upside down and take it apart to pull out a piece of foam upon arrival after having paid 2700.00 for computer parts, labor, and shipping. I contacted the company's support line and the agent Eddie, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. While he did provide me with 2 options, he tried to tell me that the issue is my fault, kept interrupting me mid sentence, refused to let me speak to another person or manager and was flat rude. He attempted to tell me I was wrong about if the piece of foam was visible in my computer. He told me it was visible from the right side panel, when it was not and I had already explained this. I was given the impression that he felt that he could belittle me or tell me I was wrong due the fact that I am a woman and gaming computers are not typically thought of something for women. I do not trust the company enough at this point to allow them to repair. Resolution Sought I would like the business to issue compensation for the power supply and any other parts that are going to need replaced from the power supply unit breaking as determined by a third party. Compensation for the time I am having to spend without my computer. Disciplinary actions against the Technical Support representative that treats customer's so poorly.
