Bioware, the company that developed the video game "Star Wars: The Old Republic" has revoked my access to my account. I had not touched the game in an extremely long time, then one day I decided to redownload it and start playing again. I played for maybe an hour or two, barely chat with anybody except to ask for directions to a location in the game. Within 24 hours I'm receiving an email from BioWare support saying "Greetings, We need to talk… We've noticed that you broke the rules in Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. Here's what we found: Evasion / Circumvention of previous Ban for inappropriate references to Children. What this means for you Since this was a very serious breach of our rules, we have permanently closed your account, cancelled your subscription and removed your payment information from our system. This means that you no longer have access to Star Wars™: The Old Republic™." After receiving that email, I went back and forth with them pleading with them that I didn't do that. I asked them to provide proof and they would not. I even told them my account has been hacked in the past and this could've been from that. They ignored everything I said and told me they will not reverse the decision. I have spent hours and a good bit of money on this account, and now that is being taken for something I didn't do. This is theft, I want my account back! Resolution Sought I want my account back! I have put a good amount of hours and money into this, and they are stealing from me. They won't even provide proof! To whom it concerns, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. In order to dispute an account sanction, a player must follow the steps outlined at the following link: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/ This is the only valid means to have an account sanction reviewed. Once you submit your dispute, our Terms of Service team will review the sanction and respond with their findings. It is important that the dispute case is not updated while being reviewed, as doing so may remove it from the queue and delay the review. Thank you. EA Help Electronic Arts

I had my Yahoo account deleted in favor of an account with Proton Mail, a more secure provider that respects privacy. Unknown to me when I did that EA Games removed access to my account that was associated with my Yahoo account on Origin. I had no way to know this was going to happen. When I contacted EA Games about being unable to log into Origin tech support refused to reactivate my account without information they said the company required to reactivate an account. This included the date and month when I purchased any games on Origin. I paid cash in a store for all games I own that are on Origin so no address or credit card is listed on Origin as the setup does not require it and since I have no credit card anyway there is nothing to enter. I also had no phone when the account was created, another thing the company asked for. The company also said that unless the answers are exact the request could also be rejected and no notice given about what was incorrect. Just my last name can be a problem. Sometimes it is O'Brady but since some sites do not accept the apostrophe on some it is OBrady. When I offered to send a copy of my passport as proof of id the company totally rejected it but claims that their required questions are about security. A passport is proof of id; how much more security is needed? The company also asked for the IP address where I played Origin games. I played them last at my old address with a different internet provider so that IP is not the same. Resolution Sought 1. Allow me to log in with my xxx@yahoo.com address despite it being inactive or 2. Change the email to xxx@protonmail.com 3. The company should inform people to change their email to a new one before getting rid of an old one.
