~ On May 12 2014 the California Bureau of Real Estate (“BRE”) filed a Desist and Refrain Order against EZ Processing Inc. (“EZPI”). Based on their investigation the BRE determined that EZPI engaged in acts or practices in violation of the California Business and Professions Code. The violations include but were not limited to: acting in the capacity of and advertising as a Mortgage Loan Originator (“MLO”) or underwriter by soliciting and performing mortgage loan processing services for a fee for borrowers in connection with purchasing and refinancing loans including reverse mortgages.

~ According to the BRE EZPI did not hold the required BRE MLO license endorsement or valid unique identifier issued by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (“NMLS”). The Desist and Refrain Order prohibits EZPI whether doing business under their own names or any other names from performing any acts within the State of California for which an MLO license endorsement is required unless so licensed.
