I purchased a 65' Philips android smart TV on Walmart.com back in May 2021. I finally did an update of the software about a month ago now and the TV got stuck in the reboot feature. I contacted the company and informed of the problem because it was still under warranty. I sent the pictures and information that was requested, but was informed that the warranty couldn't be honored because "it looked like the label with the serial number had be tampered with. I sent a copy of the receipt along with the tracking information and delivery information. Why would I steal a TV that's the exactly as the one that was purchased. I was totally insulted and had the proof of purchase along with the amount taken out of my bank account. I don't think it's right for them to deny fixing the TV when it's been less than a year of purchase and it happened when the TV was updating and could have been something wrong with it in the first place. The TV constantly reboots shows the Phillips logo. They should be responsible for fixing since it's still under warranty and I have proof of purchase and delivery. I will also be sending a letter to the better business bureau. Resolution Sought I would like the business to reimburse me for the TV or have someone come out and fix it for me.
