The nurse, she was the nurse Friday. She was abusive emotionally.

The nurse, she was the nurse Friday. She was abusive emotionally. She said since I sate a sandwich I wasn't sick. The paramedics brought me in with blood pressure of 190/100. I've never seen a nurse like her!

Kept longer than should have been at HVMC

I was taken by ambulance, NOT MY CHOICE, to HVMC on June 8th, 2018. I had asked the ambulance driver's to take me to Rancho Springs, but they refused to make the drive due to traffic. My trip was NOT an emergency and I had hired them to take me by ambulance because I was unable to physically get up and get into a vehicle on my own due to a compressed nerve in my back. I was taken to the ER and spent nearly 9 hours there, being pumped full of pain meds that were not working on my compressed nerve. I was taken for a CT scan and later told by a physician that I had a compressed nerve and would need to see a Neurosurgeon and that there were no Neurosurgeon's at Hemet Hospital. I was told by the same doctor that the pain meds that I was being given would not touch my pain, once again because the nerve was pinched and the meds were simply not getting to where they needed to to relieve my pain. After speaking with the doctor I was being prepared to be discharged and when I tried to get up to get into the wheel chair the pain was so unbearable that the discharging nurse/doctor decided that they would admit me to the hospital instead. I was taken to a room between 6-7am on June 9th, 2018, after about 9-10 hours in the ER. In the hospital room I was continually given paid meds, none of which ever provided any relief, and I made sure to let the nurses know. I had several nurses and doctors and interns come in and give me their opinions/understanding of what was going on and what the plan of action was. I was told that I would see a Neurologist, but then no one ever came. I was told that I needed to see a Neurologist and for that I would be transferred, but it took HVMC three days to transfer me to a hospital that could provide me with the services that I needed. I kept asking nurses and doctors why I was still at a hospital that couldn't provide me with the services that I needed, and the only answer I ever received was that they were trying to control my pain. It was all about the pain management... but NO PAIN MEDICINE WAS WORKING. I kept asking when I would see a Neurologist, and if that meant being transferred, when would that be, but the only answer I would get was that someone would be in to discuss that information with me. I was held at HVMC for a total of 2.5 days getting unnecessary "pain management control" for a condition that pain meds wouldnt touch. Finally on June 12th, 2018, midday, I was transferred to Riverside Community Hospital, where things weren't much better. When I filed a grievance with my medical insurance provider, HVMC gave them false information, claiming that after my MRI results were done that they had decided that I needed to see a Neurosurgeon. The MRI was done nearly two days after my CT in the ER, which showed that I needed to see a Neurosurgeon. I had been told days earlier that HVMC couldn't provide me with the services I needed, yet they kept me for those extra 2.5 days for unnecessary pain management.
