They said they couldn't get me a job when I showed up in person after they had said different through the phone

They said they couldn't get me a job when I showed up in person after they had said different through the phone. Because of a 2006 conviction it's now 2018 I was a minor and because of how I look they basically told me sorry but can't help. It's not a good agency temp place plus lots of people feel the same way
