Signed a contract with this company to assist with an invention. Paid for services. They were hit with a class action lawsuit, in which I received a refund of 20.00. My invention was incorrectly described to the patent office, causing the denial. Resolution Sought Refund my money or assist with my abandoned patent . Have a disability and this situation is causing hardship.

We are in receipt of the above referenced review. Nearly 3 years ago, this complainant contracted for a two-year service for the assistance in submitting her invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review. Our records indicate that the services were provided in accordance with the agreement. This complainant also contracted for Patent Application Referral Services in which we refer our clients to an independent patent attorney for the preparation of a patent application on her behalf. Our records indicate that we referred her to a patent attorney in July 2021 and any activity and/or questions surrounding the patent, or the process should be directed to the patent attorney. We make it very clear in our contracts as well as literature that neither InventHelp nor the patent attorney can promise or guarantee that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will issue a patent and that a patent can be denied at any time during the pendency period. I have been inventing things since 2001 I have been waiting for the best opportunity I once reached out to Gregg Thompson and I spoke to him about my inventions I have several he's scheduled an appointment for me to come in and let me know about the patent and he most definitely assured me that I can get my invention now I am done with all my payments I have spoke to universal payment about my product my material my invention merchandise A PLASTIC JACKET PROTECTION COVER and I was told that she sends it to numerous of companies I asked her how long was the duration she told me there was no guarantee I let her know now that you guys have my money why is no guarantee she says it could be a year 2 years or never at that point I knew I was kind I knew I has been had that I was robbed they just took all of my money and did not give me anything took advantage of my situation I was desperate wanting to move forward in progress in life and this is what they do to me take advantage of perseverance endeavors meaning to live dyslexia I have been going through NetSpend credit card reaching out to them letting them know that I have been robbed through the television format invent help has just ripped me off for all my money and will not send me nothing in return all I get from them now is there are no guarantees and there's nothing that I can do about it. Resolution Sought I would love to receive my money back I would love for you guys to no longer allow them to come on television and broadcast they are ripping people off I know I did not receive nothing for a large amount of money invent help is taking advantage of people on knowledge about their conning artist lying to people about the process of their contract they will guarantee and when you get done with paying them there's no guarantee.

Company states: The complainant contracted for our services in December 2020 for the assistance in submitting her invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review. Our records indicate that the services are being provided in accordance with the contract. The complainant's claims that her services are not being provided as outlined in her contracts is simply untrue. We prepared a New Product Submission Brochure announcing the availability of her idea and submitted it to companies in the InventHelp Data Bank who have agreed to review our clients' inventions in confidence. We sent her confirmation of the submissions we have done thus far by way of your first company submission report on April 12, 2022; her second company submission report was sent on May 20, 2022; and her third company submission report was sent on June 09, 2022. We also followed up with certain of those companies in an additional attempt to obtain feedback on the invention. We prepared both an Invention Summary and Press Release, which announced the availability of the idea. The Invention Summary is sent to companies outside the InventHelp Data Bank, and the Press Release will be shared with an online publicity distribution service, where it will be distributed to search engines, journalists, and bloggers. In the upcoming months, will be including her invention information in our Virtual Tradeshow which is a secure, electronic showcase of our clients' ideas and is made available at a tradeshow on an iPad or similar device and her New Product Submission Brochure will be included in one edition of our Invention Catalog which is submitted to companies who are registered in our Data Bank. While we understand the inherent frustration regarding the lack of interest from a company as a result of our submission efforts, we were clear before, during, and after this complainant contracted for our services about the high-risk of this industry. This complainant signed contracts, as well as other documents, which specifically outline the risk of this service and that we don't promise success as a result of our efforts.
