I purchase an item on their site and the item I received was incorrect. I returned the item to the seller was instructed with the shipping label provided. The item will be delivered back to the sender on 3/11/24. Mercari is now refusing to refund my money because they are stating it was not done in 7 days, which it was. Also they should not be counting Sunday as obviously there is no mail that day, their site has issues with counting days. I provided adequate information and proof of return within their time frame, and now they are asking details that should not be needed and I do not have the ability to retrieve. I'm being inconvenienced for doing nothing wrong and receiving an incorrect product. Now I have no product and no refund, from a site that supposedly has buyer protection. I have screenshots of all the conversations, what was purchased (soap) and what was received (a random picture of kids), and tracking label they provided showing the item return status. Resolution Sought I want a full refund of my $33.49. The item was returned to seller, I want my money back.

I was scammed by a buyer. I sold a wig and sent a free wig cap as a gift. Well that backfired on me. She lied and said I only sent her a wig cap. That doesn't even make sense! So she asked for a return and Mercari approved. She took the wig, lied and said I only sent her a wig cap and then scammed me. I confronted her through messaging and she blocked me. I emailed Mercari support and sent them EVIDENCE of the wig being sent off (I always take pictures beforehand just in case of this type of stuff) and they told me they couldn't do anything because I didn't reach out to them within 24 hours of delivery. Well, I did reach out to them as soon as I got my package. The thing is, I get my packages delivered to the office of my apartment complex and they close over the weekends and sometimes other days. Therefore I couldn't get my mail within the timeframe they wanted. I think that is a ridiculous way to scam people themselves! If I can't get to my package within 24 hours because the office has it how is that my fault? It's not! I even told them I can get proof from my apartment complex that I couldn't get my mail the day it got delivered. And they still don't seem to care or want to help me! Now it's gotten to the point where I feel scammed by both the buyer and Mercari! Obviously I'm the one telling the truth because of how far I'm going to get my money back!!! I will not give up until I do. If I have to make this legal I will! Because I did get scammed and it's theft!!! Resolution Sought I want my $45.00 dollars back since I no longer have the wig.
