On January 4 2006 this company's principal Eugene Molina advised the Better Business Bureau that his company Molina Financial Services Inc. also doing business as (DBA) California Financial Services has been victimized by an internet loan scam purpetrater. Mr. Molina explains that another business entity has been using part of his DBA "California Financial " and his business address to solicit personal loans via the internet. Molina Financial only offers mortgage loan services. Victims are allegedly applying for unsecured personal loans ranging from $5000 to $25 000 through a website www.myezloanz.com. The company calls to obtain additional information and supposedly run the credit reports to allegedly instantly approve the requested loans. The victims are faxed phony loan documents that have Molina Financial's address and the victims are asked to wire transfer upfront fees to a Canadian account in order to finalize the loans. The loans never materialize. When the victims get suspicious they call information on their faxed documents or they cross reference the address on the loan documents which lead the victim to Molina Financial. The company appears to have taken proper steps to report the fradulent activities to appropriate law enforcement entities. ~~
