Accepted lease payments on a motorcycle they do not own

I purchased a motorcycle from a dealer named Freedom Cycles in Pinnellas Park Florida. Before taking possession of the motorcycle it was damaged at dealer who promised to repair damage. After seeing a news report saying that this dealer was under investigation In May 2016 I contacted Motolease to verify that they owned the motorcycle I was about to start making payments on. I was told yes that Motolease did own the title. Then I find out that the dealer has closed their doors after repeated attempts to get said motorcycle and being unable to get in touch with anyone at the dealer. I called the police department who told me to contact the DMV since I had paid for a tag and needed to report it as stolen. The DMV told me not only was there no tag issued to me for the vehicle but that there was no lien on it either and that the title was in the original owner's name, meaning that Motolease took payment on a lease for a bike they don't own. They have been giving me the runaround about getting my money back since. It is now December 2016. When I call they tell me that whoever I ask for is out of the office or unavailable.Promises of a return call, which never happens. When I ask to speak to a Supervisor I'm told that there are no supervisors above the people I've spoken to, so apparently they all sign their own paychecks. They never owned the motorcycle they received payments for and refuse to refund my money. I'm starting to think that they are in a scam with the dealer who also never owned the bike.
