Terrible Company Do NOT do business with this company.

they are a total rip-off. Claims does not answer phone calls. phone rang for 20 minutes; it was then picked up and hung up. this happened multiple times. calls to customer service doesn't help either. all phones are answered by third party service, and they say they are sending messages to claims but no response. they approved the claim for about half of actual cost. this was lowest bid I could get. dealer was three times the approved amount. They refused another claim because it happened on the weekend, and they were not open, and I needed the car for work. after some wrangling, they said they would take a look at situation. claim for alternator was denied because they said a gasket leaked and caused the problem. The BBB has revoked their rating due to number of complains and non-response to complaints. what the contract says is covered and what Palmer covers are completely different. BEWARE

Palmer Administrative Services not interested in good customer service

I purchased a auto repair contract from Palmer in July 2018 without doing any research.. in my experience their goal is to payout as little as possible for repairs. They went so far as to cancel my contract after they determined my claims might exceed what I paid for the contract. In August of 2020 they denied a claim because the work was done before they gave permission. This is in keeping with their contract. In October of 2020 they denied payment to replace my turbocharger. They focused solely on the cracked housing and ignored the non-functioning fan. In early November of 2020 I noticed them I wanted to use arbitration to contest their decision. At this point they canceled my contract saying it was done on my request which was not true. They never notified me on the cancelation as required in their contract. If you have a contract with them I recommend you take the following steps. 1.) Send all correspondence. By registered mail and state you are not requesting cancelation. 2.) Always be present during any inspection of deflective parts. Get the name and contact information for the inspector. 3.) Make sure no work is done without the permission of Palmer which they should send by email. While I should have done more due diligence if you decide to buy from them get ready for a bumpy ride. If you feel you've been mistreated file a complaint with the Texas Departnent of Licensing and Regukation as listed in the cobtract.
