Some complainants allege the company uses mailed solicitations that are misleading resemble government issued notices and imply threats of large fines for non compliance. Other customers complain that after initially agreeing to purchase one poster they receive unordered merchandise along with invoices for payment. Others report they receive invoices and collection notices for items not received or have had difficulty contacting the company to discuss return instructions billing descrepancies or refund issues. ~~The company responds to all complaints by disputing that their solicitations are misleading. They contend that the informational claims concerning possible fines or other regulatory proceedings are displayed to inform the businesses of the requirements and the consequences o non-compliance. To address complaints alleging shipments of unordered merchandise the company responds by stating that the customers agreed verbally by telephone to order the additional products and contend they have all calls recorded for verification purposes. They keep calling my business and harassing my administrative assistant about renewing our compliance posters with them. We have our posters and they wont leave us alone and are very rude. Resolution Sought Quit calling us and leave us alone!!!

We are a small church in Southern Ohio. We have one full time employee and a few very part-time people. We received some information from this company (Personal Concepts Limited) and the new church treasurer returned some information to them. She really didn't have the authority to follow up with them and thought she was doing something that we had to do to comply with the law. They sent some posters to us to us and eventually sent a bill for $405.18. Calls and calls began coming for the unpaid invoice #9922815. Now the say they are sending the invoice to collections. We returned the posters but was told it wasn't in the proper time frame. It has to be within 7 days of our receiving the poster! Sometimes we don't even look at the mail for a week or two! We are a small church and do not have the money to pay for items such as this, especially something that is so outrageously priced. I talked to Marie in billing and she said that she would sent our invoice to "Review" in the Q.A. department. That was today. I told her that I didn't want to receive any more correspondence from them. It seems from what I have read some companies can use these services but I feel like we were taken advantage of and are in a lot of ways are being bullied. Also, I feel ashamed that it has happened in the first place and really believe it could be a form of extortion. Resolution Sought Receive the returned items that we really want to send back. Cancel the invoice # 9922815 for $405.18 and never contact us again. Thank you.

In regards to the initial requests to have the company removed from contact, it is Personnel Concepts standard practice and policy to cease contact upon request. Personnel Concepts' goal is to help businesses ensure that they are in 100 full compliance with labor law posting requirements, as well as maintain world class customer service. Per the complainant's request, Personnel Concepts has submitted all information provided by the complainant, as well as all information on file for the company, to be removed from all future mail, phone calls, and email; please allow 6-8 weeks for mail suppression and 30 days for fax suppression due to campaigns already in process. If there are any additional addresses or phone numbers associated with the company, please contact Personnel Concepts customer service department at 1-800-333-3795 to request the additional information also is added to suppression. Personnel Concepts sincerely believes this will satisfy this issue for both parties.
