Good afternoon, I had hired The Porter Group to help me with my current mortgage situation of trying to stop the mortgage company from foreclosing on our property and they stated that they could help me obtain a new loan modification agreement. They wanted me to pay $3000 for the help with I did in a timely matter. We have been denied our loan modification agreement three times now and in the agreement per Porter Group and myself it states that if they don't negotiate a solution that improves our mortgage situation, they will gladly refund 100 of their fee back to us. I had to call the mortgage company myself because I don't hear back from the Porter Group. I had called the mortgage company on Monday, December 13, 2021 and they have stated that they will not be issuing us a new loan modification. I email Matt the owner of the Porter Group stating this and that now I will have to hire an attorney and would like a refund back to put towards the fees and he is refusing to refund my money. I have emails and the agreements stating what lack of help they have provided for us and I am requesting the Better Business Bureau help in getting a refund for me to help pay the legal cost. Thank you Resolution Sought I would like a full refund. They promise in their agreement that if they can't get a resolution that they will provide a 100 guaranteed refund. This is per their agreement.

Enough is enough with you stating false statements and you knew from the beginning you were not getting any guarantee as you already had a sale date. No one told you stop making payments as you didn't pay your mortgage for over 2 years before you even signed up. You had no option to make payments being that delinquent and had multiple modification prior. That is why your sales associate and myself told you that. In addition your income was over $12,000 a month and your mortgage payment was only $1,248. You were at the lowest rate possible and already on a 40 year mortgage. Your previous modification you only made one payment which neglected to tell us. Yet, you want to blame everybody else for your mistakes. I will not tolerate you spreading false info and trying to cheat us after we spent countless hours. We submitted your file multiple times and the investor didn't believe your reason you even fell behind with mortgage that is less then 10 of your gross income. Please attach you signed guarantee by us and I will glady refund you, otherwise this will be our last response on this matter.

No Matt, enough is not enough. This is going to keep going until you refund my money for your lack of services and non-resolution per your agreement. I signed these documents and you have them on file. How come every complaint filed on your company has the same story? Once again you don't even know the facts for my case. The sale was issued in November 2021 not in January 2021 when I hired you. Matt you are the one spreading the false information about me and every other client you have scammed. It all states in every complaint that is written about you and the Porter Group. I was nothing but honest the entire process and again my question to you if the case was lost from the beginning why did you take the case and the money instead of saying hire a lawyer to help your matter. Because once again you scammed an innocent person that came to you begging for help for your greedy purpose. I will keep going with this and no the BBB doesn't agree with your answers, so once again it is you with providing of the false statements. If the BCA can't help me with a resolution, then I will be filing a complaint against you and the Porter Group with the Federal Trade Commission.

Every complaint? We have less then one a year out of 500 plus a year. Those are always people that we do a special deal for and explain there I no guranteee if wish to forward. This was already handled with the bbb, who by the rates me as a A because we simply delivery modifications or huh would hundreds of complaints. We wish the best and we not going to respond her to multiple complaints on every platform you wish to spread false accusations and blame everybody else for you not paying your mortgage with $12,000 income a month on an $1000.00, come on now. Share the real details of our case.

I have a signed contract that states on Pg 4 that if they can not help me with a modification for my home I get 100 back of my fees paid. They did absolutely nothing and I went into foreclosure so I had to take money from my 401k to get out of foreclosure. I kept emailing them and they would respond 10 of the time. I asked for reimbursement and they are denying me a refund. I even sent them a copy of the contract and they still refuse to reimburse me. They say that because I was in foreclosure they will not refund me. I was NOT in foreclosure until after they could not help me, then I paid and got out of foreclosure and have been up to date and they still have done nothing. The last email I got Matthew calls me a liar and said he closed my case. I would have to call them to get updates on my case and I would get excuse after excuse about Matthew being sick or in the hospital. The contract clearly states that they would not take on my case unless they could help me and they didn't. I sent them an email 3 times asking for a refund. If not I would file a complaint with BBB and write a bad review. Resolution Sought Honor the contract and refund my fees paid in the amount of $3000.
