This complaint is against Priceline.com LLC, 800 Connecticut Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854. I reserved and prepaid a hotel room in Thekkady Kerala India through https://www.guestreservations.com. However the primary business name of Priceline.com or guest reservations.com were not prominent but the particular hotel's name was. While doing the reservation, it was showing the tariff in Indian Rupees but as soon as I entered the credit card details it directly deducted US $ 30.37 along with Taxes of US$ 18.41 without even verifying with an OTP. Originally it was showing an amount of Rs.2513/- as the tariff. I believe this is some loophole these people have found to route a local transaction through the US for evading tax in India, collecting an amount in the name of tax but not remitting it back to the US Government. In the end when I checked in to the hotel the reservation is done at the hotel by Agoda.com. Resolution Sought Remove the camafloucging of one's own business with the identity of others routing a transaction initiated from India for a reservation in India and levying a tax of $18.41, this should not be repeated Levying a tax and then not remitting the same back to the US Govt.

I booked a room. Went to the hotel and they said they have had problems with Priceline and the bookings wouldn't come thru. To call Priceline. I called and they said it would be hours. I was unable to check in and it's been over 3 days now and Priceline is giving me the runaround to refund my money. Resolution Sought Refund me for my booking that they charged me for but didn't exist.
