Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. I do not like how Western Union has raised its fees.

I do not like how Western Union has raised its fees by such a large amount in the last few months. I send money to my son in Ecuador. I live on a limited income and so does he. The increase in fees, in addition to inflation hitting us at every turn, was an unexpected hit on our incomes. I do not see the necessity of raising fees for an online service that does not require human intervention. I am very unhappy with Western Union and will seek other means of sending money to my son. A small fee increase is always part of doing business, say a 50 cent increase. However, an increase of over 20 was not warranted and puts a burden on not just me but thousands of others as well.
