SCAM! Do NOT do anything with this company!
First of all, let me provide some legitimacy about myself. I am wrapping up my Masters degree in Educational Technology and work for two major universities in the Midwest in ITS (Information Technology Services). I have a passion for teaching and learning, but this company has a passion for SCAMMING and making money for themselves. Why did I sign up for this company? I thought I could expand my teaching skills to a wide variety of audiences. I was also a school teacher for awhile and missed working with elementary students. I had 1 client contact me only to never show during our online meetings, which we scheduled 3x. I think that the person on the other end wasn't real or was possibly working for the company to show as if the website was working (i.e. showing interest in me but had no intention of hiring me). I have no proof of that b/c I only have the email contact, which could be anyone. I believe companies that are involved in automatic renewal systems are required to give 30 days notice prior to the renewal: "But in general, you should be giving at least 30 days notice to your customers before processing the auto-renewal." (http://venturebeat.com/2011/04/18/ask-the-attorney-the-auto-renewal-conundrum/) This company contacted me days before the subscription was up and automatically renewed my service. I do NOT want anything to do with this company as they did not benefit me at all and I believe is a complete scam. The FTC has received complaints of this company.

Good Part-Time Job to Earn $$ if You're a College Student Like Me - Flexible Work, Good Pay, Fun Too
I've been using WMT for a few months now and I have been happy with their service so far. Although the reviews were iffy, I went ahead and took the small risk and it's paid off. My students always (in my case at least) have their own study / review materials so it's nice to just show up and work with them. I don't have to remember to bring anything with me. I only tutor the subjects that I know well, so I don't have to waste my free time preparing for my tutoring sessions - I just show up, tutor, get paid by the mom/dad/student, and I'm out of there. Pretty nice value for the startup fee I had to pay. I tried to get around paying it, but the WMT staff said I had to pay. Oh well, that's the only downer at all about them. I made the startup fee back within a week though. All in all, I'd recommend them, especially if you're a busy person like me and need a flexible part-time job. Being a 20 year old college sophomore, this was perfect for me.
