Small Business Saturday Support Your Local Businesses

Support your local businesses and help strengthen you communities and the economy this Saturday!

Small Business SaturdaySaturday, November 30, 2013 is Small Business Saturday, an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In November 2010, American Express launched the Small Business Saturday campaign to encourage shoppers to patronize small and local businesses and support their services. Many businesses use this day to offer discounts and deals on products and services and to promote their business.  In 2012, consumers spent some $5.5 billion dollars on Small Business Saturday.

Small and local businesses are an important part of our communities and the economy. They create jobs and employment opportunities, boost the economy by generating revenue and paying taxes that help support schools, local police and fire departments, and help preserve neighborhoods. Go out and support your local businesses, especially on November 30, 2013.
