Employee Spotlight: August 2016

Lina Brown

Business Consumer Alliance’s Employee of the Month for August is Lina Brown.  Lina is currently our Sales Manager for our Colton office and has been with our organization since 2002.  She started off as a Customer Service Rep.  Her skills in that department has helped her emphasize our mission of resolving complaints and reporting on a company’s reliability to the general public.  Lina transitioned to our sales department in 2008, but these attributes from customer service are a driving force for her ability to recruit member businesses and explain the benefits of membership with our organization.

Lina was eventually promoted to sales manager in 2014 and is doing a spectacular job in growing our sales force.   When Lina isn’t at the office, she enjoys crafting and binge watching TV series.  In her spare time, Lina is involved with her children’s sporting activities.  She’s currently the Athletic Director for her son’s football team, which keeps her plenty busy.  Her guilty pleasure is snacking on chips of any kind.  When asked about what her most fulfilling part about working for BCA is, Lina replied, “Coming across companies that I have signed up several years back who are still members of BCA with no break in membership whatsoever.  That alone tells me that I am doing something right.”
